Wow-IO! GRG Events had the unique opportunity to create the WOWIO Comic Cruise this year at Comic-Con San Diego. The event was a huge success. We loved having the chance to meet WOWIO readers, publishers, creators, the press and other friends -- old and new! And, of course, it was quite memorable for all of us to soak in the amazing and unique Comic-Con experience. In case you missed it, be sure to check out WOWIO.com or WowioTV's archive of our live coverage of the Con. We've pulled together some of our snapshots from the goings-on.

In addition to helping procure the yacht, site plan, event management, security, promotions staff, decor, lighting, red carpet and signage... GRG also provided sustainable event bags, water bottles, recycled sunglasses, frisbees and a commemorative Jason Badower original WOWIO poster (which, admittedly, wasn't really that Green -- but too cool!) Thanks again for a great event, WOWIO team!
              

GRG teamed up with the Surf Cup presented by Nike in San Diego, CA this weekend to provide sustainable promotions and fundraising items such as reusable water bottles, coffee tumblers, grocery bags, recycled sunglasses and organic beach towels for parents, players, coaches and spectators from around the country to this prestigious soccer event.  The Surf Cup Store was a tremendous success thanks to the tournament's tireless volunteer leaders, Lynn Soares and Grace Evans.  Thanks and Go Surf!

Go Raise Green and Marymount University's Men's Soccer Program have worked together to create an alternative to disposables at their ever-popular summer camps. The result is this customized stainless steel water bottle, pictured above. A perfect summer item for the sweltering summers of Arlington, Virginia, this water bottle is sure to be a hit. Special thanks to Head Coach Keith Moser for his help. Give our representatives A CALL and learn how you too can green your summer camp!

The GRG Team is rooted in athletics on many levels. As we work to promote green solutions in local communities and national stages, we work closely with leaders in athletics to steward the great messages of sustainability. Enter Andrew Campbell. One of the nation's top professional sailors, Andrew is currently sporting GRG products during his European training tour! Check out his blog and support him in his travels as he looks toward the World Championships and 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Nautical sustainability -- it's all good!

We took to Farmers and Fishers at the Georgetown Waterfront on Thursday to celebrate our national launch! With over 125 loyal supporters on-hand, President and CEO Brian Foote expressed his gratitude and hopes to spread the GRG products and message nationwide. Attendees left with a GRG swag bag and poised to bring GRG to their respective communities. Style. Spirit. Sustainability. Spread the word!
